My journey began

At 14 years old as a Saturday girl in a busy city centre salon, and I’ve been passionate about transforming clients hair and giving them confidence ever since.

After my apprenticeship, I spent eight years travelling across the UK and Europe with a leading hair loss company, gaining hands-on experience with hair loss systems for men and women and a deep understanding of how powerful hair can be for someone’s confidence. 

When my daughter was born with additional needs, I took the leap to start my own business — something flexible but fulfilling. From my small home salon, I built a thriving client base of hair extension clients that quickly grew into my first salon, which I proudly owned for almost a decade. With all this experience I learnt how to perfect a hair extension installation but also made all the mistakes so you don’t have too. 

Along the way, I’ve won multiple awards including  Beautyworks Master Extensionist, Educator Of Excellence and many others, and had the privilege of mentoring talented hairstylists, helping them grow their skills and build their dream careers.

In 2017, I launched By Danielle Alexandra Academy, where I train stylists in the latest hair extensions and hair loss techniques. Empowering them to change lives while building highly profitable, successful, careers of their own.
